$65,000 6 bedrooms 3 baths in Warren, OH (pending sale). First of All, I have got to confess that I had no clue as to what Ohio had to offer. I was home searching (Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota), soul searching, asking God for direction. And I suddenly had the most positive sounding suggestion “Why not Ohio? Look in Ohio!” So I figured it’s worth investigating. That same positive sounding suggestive voice guided my career choices. “Why not Linux, why not, opensource development” circa 1996. Back to the main point; Ohio is actually growing in some areas. Columbus, the Capital is expanding to the south east. Intel is building a plant in New Albany, Ohio with federal grants. According to Intel’s website: https://newsroom.intel.com/corporate/ohio-one-construction-timeline-update. Columbus is expensive but smaller towns exist within commute times of 40 minutes or less.

The above featured image reflects my suggested changes (I love Acorn Trees) to the property located at 1683 Juanita Ave, Youngstown, OH 44504 and was rendered with generative a.i. Then only 2 1/2 hours North East of Columbus, there is places like Youngstown and Warren. They’re not nearly as large and offer a quieter lifestyle for those that work remote and there are some local jobs.
Pictured below are screenshots of “Google Street View” shots taken from the surrounding neighborhood. Youngstown is 2 hours away from Columbus and home to several remote workers and commuters. Good rent is hard to find.

Below is a map centered on Youngstown, Warren is to the North West. Zoom out and Columbus is further West. North Eastern Ohio has a heritage and vibe all it’s own.
